Now, the KGF creators have released a hamlet drama called Kantara. This Telugu-dubbed Kannada movie has generated some hype in recent days. The story takes place in the Karnataka village of Kundapur in 1847.

Plot

The protagonist of the tale is the region’s king, who is dissatisfied with his lot in life. He stumbles onto a deity close to a woodland while looking for calm. He strikes a deal with the locals and trades the deity for the forest lands.

Trouble begins when the King’s successors want the lands back in the 1990s, many years later. The forest department starts intruding on the woods region, which causes problems for the locals. An easygoing man named Shiva (Rishabh Shetty) assumes responsibilities and rebels against them. The remainder of the movie focuses on the struggle of the people against the landowners and the forest service.

Here are 5 good reasons to see the movie.

  1. As Shiva, Rishab Shetty is really fantastic. Throughout the entire movie, he perfectly captured the feelings. While his comic timing keeps the audience entertained for the first hour, his performance at the conclusion will definitely wow you. We’re going to be blown away by the combat scenes and the climax scenes.
  2. The first half of the movie is quite interesting, and the action happens quickly and never drags. The excellent production design and compelling images will keep your interest.
  3. The humorous scenes starring Rishab Shetty and his crew make people laugh a lot. Rishabh and Sapthami Gowda’s love story is portrayed beautifully. The actress had an alluring appearance and performed admirably.
  4. Supporting performers like Achyuth Kumar and Kishore Kumar received good roles that gave this story more significance and did well in them. The action scenes are well-made and exciting.
  5. The entire movie’s events are unpolished and presented in a raw way. There are quite a few goosebump-inducing scenes that will drive crowds wild, particularly during the climax.

While many South Indian movies were performing underwhelmingly in the last few months, Kantara has definitely raised the bar again. What are your views on the movie? Comment down below.
