No doubt, Akshay Kumar is one of the biggest actors in the Bollywood industry. He charges the biggest cheques and does the most movies all year round. Lately, his quantity-over-quality approach is failing, and most of his experiments are failing. Be it in Samrat Prithviraj, Ram Setu, or Raksha Bandhan, everyone is having the same complaint from the actor — He does not give his movies and his roles enough time and just gets done with them like it is a formality. I kind of agree with this here.

Where actors like Ranveer Singh (in his role of Khilji) and Ranbir Kapoor (in his role of Sanjay Dutt) are giving it their absolute best and working hard for years on a single project, you cannot just shoot for 40 days and release the movie. There is no way you are going to have the same impact on your fans. But you cannot take anything from the actor, and the fact that he has done amazing experiments in Bollywood. In his career in Bollywood, there have been many times when the actor has done what no one else was doing and has received acclaim and popularity for it.

Hera Pheri — Hera Pheri is probably the best comedy movie of all time if you talk about Bollywood. Doing a multi starer comedy film with a brilliant actor like Sunil Shetty was a bold step that Akshay Kumar took, especially when you consider that he was only known for his action roles at that time. Clearly, the movie worked, and his role as Raju is still remembered.

Mujse Shaadi Karogi — Doing a movie where you are a co-lead with the biggest star in the Bollywood industry can be a tough step, as there is always a chance of the other actor outshining you and taking away all the fame and credit. But Akshay Kumar stole the show when he did a romantic comedy with Salman Khan.

Oh My God — In a country where religion can cause serious problems, Akshay Kumar decided to make a movie that challenges the beliefs of millions of people. The movie was unlike anything ever made in Bollywood, and the movie was received well by the people and also by the critics.

Padman — Our society has started talking about menstruation as a real problem, but it was not the same until a few years ago. When Akshay Kumar made a movie about sanitary pads, everyone was shocked to see him bring up this TABOO topic. But the movie was amazing in every sense and did change a lot of things the society.
