Infinix is no stranger to releasing competitive budget smartphones and the Infinix Smart 5 which launched a while back is an example.

Infinix Smart 5 is a pocket-friendly phone with an octa-core processor, a huge battery, a decent camera, and a fingerprint scanner included. The body is made up of plastic while the front side is made up of glass. I really like the design of this phone. It definitely gives off a premium look.

Infinix Smart 5 sports a waterdrop sunlight display which promises to provide a clear and broader view for a better mobile experience. It is a 6.6-inch IPS TFT display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The teardrop notch takes up a small part of the screen which in turn is less obstructive while viewing some content.

This phone comes with an octa-core processor from Mediatek which I like. Heavy tasks can be done easily and it doesn’t lag. There is a single storage option of 64GB which is paired with 3GB of memory. This configuration is adequate for everyday use.

Camera wise, it performs well. The Infinix Smart 5 has a triple camera setup of 13MP at the back. This helps in capturing clearer, brighter, and more beautiful photos effortlessly with the help of AI Enhancement.

Infinix Smart 5 is preloaded with Android 10 Go Edition, which is a good decision. There is Infinix’s in-house XOS 6 layered on top of the Android 10 Go Edition.

Lastly, the 5,000 mAh battery is just the icing on the cake. The battery is more than enough for a smartphone with these specifications. There is 33 hours of talk time and a massive 35 days of standby time. It has a 10W charging speed but for a battery this big, even 10W of charging will take a long-time charge fully.
