India’s Cheapest 5G Smartphone Impresses: Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G

It’s been a little while since Realme has come out with India’s cheapest 5G smartphone and it still continues to impress with both its internal and external specifications.

The Narzo 30 Pro 5G is an absolute delight. I know it has a plastic back but that doesn’t take away from the product’s look or feel. In fact, it makes the phone appear lighter in weight because it comes with a pretty huge battery. The back of the phone comes with a frosty finish in a silver hue that also keeps away fingerprints and other smudges. I quite like the look of this phone.

The screen is 6.5-inches long and has a Full HD+ IPS LCD screen that offers punchy colours and great viewing angles and has a brightness of 600 nits. The fingerprint scanner is mounted on the side of the phone, on top of the power button. The Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G is priced at less than 20K and within that amount, Realme has managed to produce a well-made smartphone with 5G capabilities.

Apart from being India’s cheapest 5G smartphone currently, the main USP of this phone is its performance capabilities. Armed with the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset and a huge 5,000 mAh battery, this phone is a gaming champ. Apart from comprising a built-in modem for 5G network connectivity, its 8GB RAM is enough for multitasking and you won’t experience any force shut-downs in any applications. Plus this is with multiple apps running at the same time in the background.

On the software front, the Realme Narzo 30 Pro ships with Android 10 OS. The skin pre-installed is Realme UI which offers a near-stock user experience. The camera array comes with a 48MP primary sensor and an 8MP wide-angle sensor. The third lens is a 2MP camera for macro photography and captures good shots. Seems like a solid budget 5G phone to me. I would definitely go for the Narzo 30 Pro 5G simply because it shines in all aspects but especially in its performance as it supports 5G.
