The title keeps changing every few weeks

It seems like Oppo with its A53s 5G is trying to bring in one of the most budget friendly 5G smartphones in India. In fact it IS the cheapest 5G smartphone in India right now. This smartphone is quite well priced at Rs. 14,990 and thus competes with the Realme 8 5G which also comes with the same Dimensity 700 5G processor and is priced the same as well.

This new 7nm chipset comes with support for 90Hz displays as well as offers dual 5G connectivity. It also offers octa-core processing at a maximum clock speed of up to 2.2GHz. Apparently the MediaTek Dimensity 700 can also deliver up to 30 percent greater throughput layer coverage.

In short, it comes with a massive 5,000 mAh battery and an equally massive 128GB + 1TB storage space. One can even get to capture professional-level photographs, by relying on the triple camera configuration on the rear side teamed with an 8MP selfie-shooting lens and distinctive functionalities. Let’s look at all the specs of this phone individually:

Display: It comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a pixel density of 270ppi and a bezel-less display.

Camera: It has a 13MP triple camera setup at the rearn and a 8MP selfie camera at the front.

SoC: The Oppo A53s 5G is embedded with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and has a 6/8GB RAM and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

Battery: The smartphone comes with a powerful 5,000 mAh battery. It is non-removable and is compatible with 18W Fast Charging.

Storage: the Oppo A53s 5G gets a UFS 2.1 type 128GB internal storage that can be extended to 1TB using a microSD card.

Connectivity: The device is compatible with 5G and 4G VoLTE networks besides supporting other features like Wi-Fi, A-GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, Mobile Hotspot and USB Type-C.
