Is the Oppo Reno 6 5G a Camera Savvy Smartphone?
I would say that the Reno 6 stands apart from the competition in terms of its design as well as camera specifications. If you have a budget of below ₹30,000 then i would say go for this phone because the Reno 6 5G squares off well against other phones in the segment.
Coming to the camera specs, the Oppo Reno 6 sports a triple rear camera which comprises 64MP main sensor with f/1.7 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 32 MP selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
As far as the videos I have watched on youtube, this smartphone’s camera offers pretty impressive results. The images captured in daylight turn out well with ample amount of detailing and colour reproduction.
Overall I’d say that the Oppo Reno 6 comes across as a promising smartphone with well rounded specs. I usually have issues with phones which drain the battery immensely while taking photos and videos but since this one comes with fast charging and runs the latest operating system, it really makes a good amount of difference.
Plus, this 5G-enabled smartphone is powered by an octa-core Dimensity processor which further helps with power saving + provides strong support to the UI.
Also, on the Oppo Reno 6 5G there is Android 11 support and it is topped with the company’s own layer of ColorOS 11. Seems like the new Oppo UI promises to offer improved features and user experience.
ColorOS 11.3 especially has so many good things going for it. One such example is the Game Toolkit which is just great to use. A few of the choicest features are the enhanced dark mode and a highly flexible screenshot option.
Some more features include: Google Discover integration on the homescreen, screen recording, smart sidebar, quick launch, floating window, and conversation bubbles. There is a bit of bloatware but it can be easily deleted so no worries on that front. To make your experience more fulfilling, head to settings and disable browser adverts and lock screen magazine.
On the hardware front, the Oppo Reno 6 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. Along with it, the smartphone packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. It also gives 3GB of virtual RAM. The software works wonderfully with the camera as well and there are no weird lags or anything.
