Is the Poco F3 GT a Good Enough Mid-Range Flagship Phone?
I think we can all agree that the Poco F3 GT was probably one of the most awaited smartphones of 2021, especially after what the company had managed to do with the Poco F1 in 2018.
All of us in the tech community had high expectations from their new release and boy, did Poco deliver! On paper, it comes with features like a 120Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, 64-megapixel main camera, a 5,000 mAh battery, 67W fast charging and very capable maglev triggers for gaming.
The pricing is pretty spot-on too, if you ask me. It is priced at Rs 26,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, Rs 28,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of the phone will cost Rs 30,999. Despite this, it does face competition from other mid-range but flagship brands out there.
The Poco F3 GT punches above its weight when it comes to the design and premium-ness of the device. Poco has used a glass rear panel with matte finish which truly makes the smartphone standout. Along with this, you get two very impressive colour options in Gunmetal Silver and Predator Black.
The only thing you need to consider is that the Poco F3 GT is 8.3mm thick and weighs around 205 grams. Also, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack despite that. You do get a 3.5mm to type-C USB adapter inside the retail box. Overall, the weight is distributed well and you get a very good in-hand feel.
