Key specs of the new Redmi 9 Activ

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi officially launched the Redmi 9 Activ smartphone in the Indian market. The handset looks identical to the Redmi 9 device that was launched last year. Redmi 9 Activ smartphone’s 4GB + 64GB variant is now available for sale in the country via Amazon India.

Redmi 9 Activ features a 6.53-inch HD+ dot drop display with a resolution of 1600x720 pixels. The device comes powered by MediaTek Helio G35 chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

The handset gets a dual rear camera setup comprising a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth shooter. At the front, there is a 5MP snapper for selfies and video calls. The rear camera module also gets an LED flash and it supports AI Beautify 5.0 and AI scene detection.

The handset comes packed with a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5, a micro-USB port, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio and 4G VoLTE.

Coming to the pricing, Redmi 9 Activ is priced at Rs 9,499 for the 4GB + 64GB model whereas the 6GB + 128GB variant retails at Rs 10,999.
