Lava Z3 — Pros and Cons
Pretty recently, Lava has launched a new smartphone in their Z series. The new Lava Z3 has been launched at a very interesting price of Rs 7,299. At such a low price, it is difficult to imagine a smartphone with trustable performance, but Lava has proved us wrong. With the power of the Mediatek Helio A20 chipset, this smartphone delivers excellent performance with some interesting features. In this blog, we are going to talk about some underappreciated and underrated features of Lava Z3 that are not known by a lot of people, and also about some things that could have been better in this smartphone.
Pros -
- Hundred Day Free Screen Replacement Policy — Lava Z3 comes with an interesting 100-day free screen replacement policy, under which you can replace your screen free of cost if it gets damaged in the first 100 days of purchase. The smartphone has a solid build which is going to protect the device and the display is also pretty amazing with 6.52inch IPS LCD display along with 60 Hz refresh rates.
- Camera Clarity — Camera clarity is also one of the most underrated features of this smartphone. Lava Z3 is equipped with an 8MP primary camera in a back dual camera setup and the front camera is 5MP. Both cameras have extreme clarity, and can capture clear and colorful pictures.
- Camera Zoom — The Lava Z3 is the only smartphone in its price range to have a 4x zoom in both its front and rear cameras. Even while recording a video, you can zoom the lens 4 times. It is a great feature for all people who love to click photos or create videos.
- Processor — The Mediatek helio A20 processor is this smartphone’s biggest strength. This processor has the ability to perform all tasks with decent efficiency. The performance of this smartphone because of Helio A 20 is very smooth and fast.
Cons
- No gallery — Lava Z3 does not have a gallery in its user interface. Equipped with Android 11, there should have at least been a gallery to store pictures. Instead of a gallery, we have Google Photos. Of course, we can download this feature from the AppStore but then we would have to go through numerous ads to open the gallery. This is a basic feature and should have been added.
- Speakers — The sound of the speakers is very nice, but the placing of these speakers can be a bit problematic for some. The loudspeakers are placed at the back of the smartphone, so when you are holding the smartphone horizontally, your hands might cover the speakers and the sound might not come out properly.
These are some of the pros and cons of this smartphone. Honestly, I have not seen a better smartphone under Rs 8,000 than the Lava Z3. It is an example of how you can afford quality smartphones without having to pay high costs for them.
