Lenovo Smart Clock 2 — Features & Specs!
Lenovo Smart Clock 2 is the second version of the Smart Clock that Lenovo had launched earlier. Being the latest version, the Smart Clock 2 does come with upgrades and even better pricing, in my opinion that makes this a good overall device that one would need to transform their home into a smart home.
Before we get into the specs and the features segment, let’s take a look at the price set by the brand for the Smart Clock 2. The Lenovo Smart Clock 2 comes with the starting price of Rs 6,999. For the price of 7K, the kind of features that the Smart Clock offers is pretty good, in my opinion.
The Smart Clock features a fabric soft-touch cover and a 10.16 cms or 4-inch colour touchscreen display that showcases the time, weather, photos with a choice of customisable clock faces. The Clock comes in a single colour variant of ‘heather grey’ colour and it does give the device a pretty good and a sophisticated look I’d say. This is an intelligent smart home solution that ensures and makes it a lot easier to manage your time schedules, enjoy music, and control innovative home products. The Smart Clock 2 can be connected to upto 50000 other smart devices and one can access the control through voice assistant thanks to Google. The device allows users to gain control of their other smart home appliances connected to the same Wi-Fi like TVs, Smart Bulbs, Refrigerators etc. The Lenovo Smart Clock 2, which comes as the successor to the original smart clock, brings improved speakers. It allows consumers to listen to their favourite music, audiobooks, podcasts, and radio as well.
The Smart Clock 2 also comes with a charging dock. The wireless charging dock can connect two additional devices at once with the Smart Clock 2. It has a built-in nightlight when docked as well. This nightlight is just bright enough to illuminate the way without bothering anyone else. There are good uses of this device in more than one way which makes this a brilliant and also superbly practical device for a smart home.
Moving on to what keeps this Smart Clock 2 performing the way it does. The Clock 2 is powered by MediaTek’s MT8167S processor, with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. It has Bluetooth 4.2. The charging dock is MagSafe compatible.
What do you think of this launch by Lenovo? Worth the price?
