Lenovo has launched a Smart Clock before the second version and since the Lenovo Smart Clock 2 has now been launched, it comes with a bunch of new upgrades and enhancements that makes it a better launch by the brand compared to the one launched before. In terms of the looks and the design of the Smart Clock, it resembles a lot of other products and gels well with the Nest products.

It comes with a 4-inch LCD touch screen where it displays the time, weather and photos. One can even customise their face displays and adjust the brightness of the screen and it will also function as a nightlight. the design comes in a fabric of Heather Grey colour. The clock also functions in an Android 10 operating system along with a MediaTek MT8167S Processor (1.50GHz) and 1GB RAM + 8GB Flash. It has Bluetooth 4.2. While there are a bunch of superb features integrated into the Smart Clock 2, the really cool add-on is that you can get it with an optional wireless charging dock that attaches to the bottom of the smart clock to turn it into a wireless charger in my opinion. This wireless charger is even MagSafe compatible. For the current Apple phone users, this is a good and practical option if they are looking to step into making a smart home or expanding the same.

The other features that makes this Smart Clock 2 a good launch by the brand are, the new clock features a slightly different design but it’s still small and wrapped in fabric so it blends in with a lot of other Nest Home products. On the back, there’s a mute switch, a power plug and on the top, there are volume controls. Lenovo Smart Clock 2 is designedwith a soft-touch fabric material. The Lenovo logo as well as the sizable bezels surround the screen. It is very light weighs 298 grams and can be placed or carried around anywhere. But unfortunately, there is no battery inside. So you have to connect it to an outlet where there is power. At the back, we will find a microphone mute toggle switch. So you can just turn it off whenever you want to stop. There is no camera but one can make any audio calls via Google Duo. To adjust the volume for audio there is an audio rocker.

What are your opinions on the launch of the Lenovo smart Clock 2? Worth buying it?
