Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) — All Specs & Features
Lenovo has really been rocking in by launching good-quality tablets in all price ranges. Here is my review of the recently launched Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen).
Design and Build — The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) has a really classy appearance and is built very nicely. Beginning at the back, you’ll find a two-toned back panel with a glass-like surface and sparse Lenovo and Dolby emblems. The Precision Pen 3 that comes with the device can be held using a magnetic section of the rear panel. When it comes to the buttons, the power button, SIM tray, and speakers are all located at the top. You receive a set of volume rockers on the right side.
Display — You receive an 11.2-inch 2.5K OLED screen with a 15:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2560X1536 pixels. The panel is certified by HDR, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and it fully complies with DCI-P3 colour standards. The panel also features a touch sampling rate of 360Hz and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Additionally, it provides brightness of up to 600nits. The result of all of this is incredible picture quality, with razor-sharp images, bright and clean colours, optimum saturation and contrast levels, and generally a vivid image without going overboard. Consuming stuff is thus obviously fantastic.
Audio — Lenovo has also done a good job with the Tab P11 Pro’s audio system (2nd Gen). You receive a set of quad speakers that can be turned up loud without distorting. You’ll need to utilise a 3.5mm-to-USB-C adaptor or choose Bluetooth if you want to use wired headphones.
Camera — In terms of cameras, you get an 8MP sensor up front and a 13MP sensor at the back. Both cameras function reasonably well, with the front camera performing somewhat better than the rear camera. The rear camera’s lack of clarity is its only minor drawback; otherwise, everything is fine. For video calls, the front camera performs admirably.
Performance — Our test Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen) contained 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and it was powered by a MediaTek Kompanio 1300T chipset and Mali G77 MC9 GPU. The MediaTek Kompanio 1300T SoC was likely chosen because it would maintain the gadget 5G-ready and improve gaming performance.
Battery — The tablet comes with an 8000mAh battery, that easily lasts around a day of usage. But the 20W fast charging takes a little more time than you would expect to charge the device.
