Mediatek has been on a roll recently, as they are launching high-tech processors continuously. Earlier this year, Mediatek launched 3 new smartphone chipsets in their Dimensity series (Dimensity 8100, 8000, and 1300) and now, their latest chipset in the Helio series is coming to the market. The Mediatek Helio G37 smartphone comes as a successor to the existing and capable Mediatek Helio G35 processor. It is surely a worthy upgrade, let us check out the features and specifications of this smartphone processor.

Structure — Mediatek Helio G37 processor is a 64-bit processor that comes with an octa-core structure with all A-53 cores. Half of these cores are clocked at the maximum speed of 2.3GHz and half of these are clocked at 1.8GHz. This guarantees a perfect combination of speed and efficiency.

GPU — Mediatek Helio G37 processor has a PowerVR GE 8320 GPU with a maximum frequency of 680MHz. This GPU has been used in many devices earlier and is a pretty capable one.

Display — The display specs of Mediatek Helio G37 are one of its biggest strengths. This chipset supports an FHD+ display with fast refresh rates of 90Hz. The fast refresh rates will provide smoother web browsing and social streaming experience. I feel the display quality of this processor will be colorful and bright, as I have noticed this feature in all other smartphones powered by the Mediatek Helio G35 processor.

Memory — The memory support of any chipset is one of its most important features, as efficient RAM and storage support can heavily affect the performance of the device. Mediatek Helio G37 processor supports LPDDR 3 and LPDDR 4X type RAM of up to 8GBs. Also, it supports an EMMC 5.1 (and all earlier) type of storage. This guarantees a smooth and trouble-free performance in multitasking.

Camera — The Mediatek Helio G37 processor supports up to 25MP of a single camera and 13MP + 13MP of dual cameras. The portrait mode will be especially amazing with the high-quality hardware used to back up the bokeh effect. Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and Rolling Shutter Compensation (RSC) engines are also used for excellent camera performance.

These are some of the key features that guarantee exceptional performance in the latest Mediatek Helio G37 processor. The first smartphone to use this processor is the Moto G22 by Motorola, and it is going to launch soon. Let me know your opinion below in the comments.
