Oneplus 10R vs Samsung Galaxy S20 FE
The April of 2022 has been an incredible month for all smartphone fans. This month, we have seen numerous smartphones being launched, which has exceptional features and strong specs. Two such smartphones are Oneplus 10R and Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. Both these smartphones approximately fall in the same price category, so I think it is the right idea to compare them and check out who comes out as the winner in this one.
Build — Talking about the build quality of these smartphones, both have a pretty decent and strong build quality. Both of these smartphones have a plastic back along with a glass protection. Oneplus 10R has a stronger Gorilla Glass 5 protection as compared to Samsung S20 FE’s Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The back panel of both these smartphones are attractive, and it is a matter of personal choice as to which one looks better. For me, Oneplus 10R looks better.
Display — Oneplus 10R has a 6.7inch screen and a higher STB ratio when compared to Samsung S20 FE’s 6.5inch screen. Samsung S20 FE has a Super AMOLED panel where Oneplus 10R has a Fluid AMOLED panel with more than a billion colors. Both smartphones carry HDR10+ compatibility and have 120Hz refresh rates.
Performance — I think this is where we can set these smartphones apart. Oneplus 10R has the power of Mediatek Dimensity 8100 Max processor, which is considerably faster and stronger than Samsung Galaxy S20 FE’s Snapdragon 865 processor. Also, Mediatek’s processor has been built on a 5nm production process, as opposed to Snapdragon’s 7nm production process. This means the Dimensity 8100 Max is not only faster but also a more efficient processor.
Camera — Oneplus 10R carries a rear triple camera setup of 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro camera. Samsung S20 FE carries a 12MP primary, 8MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide camera. Oneplus 10R has a 16MP front camera, whereas its competitor has a 32MP front camera. Oneplus 10R’s primary camera is way better, but in all other photos and video parameters, Samsung S20 FE takes the lead.
Battery — Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a 4500mAh battery and 25W fast charging support. Oneplus 10R has a 5000/4700mAh battery with 80W/150W charging support. In battery also, Oneplus 10R takes the lead.
As you can see above, Oneplus 10R takes the lead in almost every aspect except the cameras. And I too feel that Oneplus 10R is a better smartphone here. Comment your opinions below.
