Oneplus Y1S Pro — Should I Buy It?
I have been looking for a good smart TV for a long time now, and I think my search has ended. I just went to the Croma store today to test the new Oneplus Y1S Pro smart TV. The smart TV was launched way back in April of 2022, but its 55-inch variant was recently released. I have shifted into a new apartment with my parents and my brother, and the drawing room is pretty big.
I was first considering buying a 45-inch TV, but I now think that a 55-inch TV would be better. Also, the Oneplus Y1S Pro 55-inch Smart TV falls right into my budget, so why not buy a 55-inch screen for the same price? Anyway, I just tested this new smart TV and I loved every feature of it. I came back home, researched about its specs, and here is what I found.
Design — The Oneplus Y1S Pro smart TV’s design and construction are two of its major advantages. Extremely uncommonly, the side and rear frames of this smart TV are both made of metal. Metal also makes up the bottom plate bearing the Oneplus logo. The Oneplus Y1S Pro has a bezel-less design, giving it a contemporary and expensive appearance.
Performance — The Android TV 10 UI is what drives the Oneplus Y1S Pro. It includes a number of practical and interactive features, including Airplay and screen-casting functionality for mobile devices. The Oxygen Play software is very user-friendly and smooth. The smart TV has ALLM support, which enhances performance when carrying out demanding tasks like gaming or dual streaming.
Display — The smart TV from Oneplus, the Y1S Pro, boasts a 4K UHD screen. Excellent viewing is made possible by an HDR10+ display with a 3000:1 aspect ratio. The most effective way to draw attention is to the dark tones. Additionally, the Oneplus Y1S boasts a multitude of hues and a respectable amount of brightness.
Hardware— Other smart TVs in this price range are outperformed by the Oneplus Y1S Pro. The Mediatek MT 9216 chipset powers the Oneplus Y1S Pro, and the potent Mali G31 GPU is responsible for handling graphics. There are no lags or late responses when using this smart TV, which performs superbly. Numerous programs can be opened with seamless performance and are preset. It utilizes Android 10 TV software, which is regularly updated.
Other — The smart TV features 8GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. It supports Dolby Audio and has 24W speakers. It supports 5.0 Bluetooth and dual-band WiFi.
I have placed my order and would be receiving the Oneplus Y1S Pro Smart TV in the next 24 hours. I am very excited to use this smart TV, as I am a big-time gamer, and I would love to experience playing games on the 55-inch screen.
