Oppo A16E — Hit or Miss?

Oppo A16E was recently launched by Oppo in an effort to bring out a smartphone that has can fill the empty spot in the ‘Under 10K’ smartphone range. This smartphone has been priced at around Rs 10,000 only, and it provides some good features for that price. In other words, Oppo found out what was missing in the market and released a smartphone according to that. Oppo A16E is one of the only smartphones in the ‘under 10K’ price range that can provide stable and trustable performance. Let us look at the features of this smartphone and see whether this smartphone is a Hit or a Miss!

Looks — First, let us talk about the design and looks of the smartphone. It has a strong build quality along with a glossy design and a soft finish. The light reflections on this smartphone’s back panel look amazing. It has a sleek, lightweight, and slim design with an amazing in-hand feel.

Camera — The camera is also surprisingly good. It has a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front camera. Both cameras have amazing colors and focus. Also, both these cameras have 1080P video recording.

Display — Oppo A16E has a 6.5inch screen along with an IPS HD+ display with 60Hz refresh rates. The mobile user experience along with the touch sensitivity is also nice. The brightness and colors are high-grade. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Oppo A16E has an 83% screen-to-body ratio.

Battery — Oppo A16E has a decent battery backup of 4230mAh power. With the efficiency of this smartphone, the battery can last for more than a day. Also, Oppo provides a 10W charger which takes around 2 hours to charge this smartphone.

Processor — The Oppo A16E is powered by a Mediatek Helio P22 processor. This processor is a reliable one, as it has powered many smartphones in the past. It is an octa-core processor with a top speed of 2.0GHz. The Mediatek Helio series has always been high in efficiency and Helio P22 is no different. Also, the processor can handle some light gaming as well. At this price, Mediatek Helio P22 is the right choice and Oppo has made a good decision.

In my personal opinion, I feel Oppo A16E is one of the most capable smartphones in its price range. I did not think we could get good smartphones for Rs 10,000, but Oppo proved me wrong. It certainly is a Hit smartphone!
