Oppo A77 — Pros & Cons
The Oppo A77 smartphone has finally been made available in India, and people all across the country are astonished by its features and specifications. The phone has been categorized as a low-cost device and, in accordance with the price it commands, offers a few nice features. Here are some advantages and disadvantages of smartphones:
Pros -
Design and Display — The Oppo A77 has a sleek design and is a light, thin smartphone. This device weighs about 175g and has an 8mm thickness, making it quite lightweight. It is still well-made and has a helpful silicon cover that provides some reasonable protection and grip without adding weight or detracting from the design. The 6.5-inch HD Plus screen is clear, sharp, and gets bright, but in comparison to high-end phones, the colors seem a little washed out. Additionally, it boasts effective 90Hz refresh rates. I believe Oppo should have chosen an FHD+ display.
Performance — The MediaTek Helio G35 8-core CPU is the brains behind the OPPO A77 4G. The SoC features a PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 8-core CPUs running at 2.3GHz, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of onboard storage. A 2.3GHz Octa-core CPU keeps things moving smoothly, and basic program launches are almost lag-free. The smartphone has 4GB of RAM that can practically be increased by an additional 4GBs. The phone comes pre-installed with ColorOS 12.1 and Android 12.
Camera — Two cameras are installed on the back of the A77 4G for the purpose of taking pictures. Two of them are a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 and an additional 50-megapixel main sensor with EIS and an f/1.88 aperture. It has an 8MP front camera for selfies. Both ends’ cameras function nicely. Oppo’s cameras have a long history of being well-made, and the Oppo A77 is another example of this. Under adequate lighting, the rear camera works effectively all around.
Battery — The smartphone carries a 5000mAh battery, that can last pretty long because of the efficiency of the Mediatek Helio G35 processor. Also, it has 33W fast charging support. Oppo A77 4G typically lasts more than a day for me.
Cons
No FHD Display — In my opinion, Oppo A77 should have at least had an FHD+ display, as no one wants an HD+ in this price range. The gaming and multimedia experience could have been improved because of it.
Speaker — I think the speaker quality is on the lower side. For better content consumption, the audio quality of Oppo A77 4G should have been better.
These are the pros and cons of Oppo A77. Since the pros outweigh the cons, I guess it is the right choice to buy the Oppo A77 4G smartphone.
