The newest low-cost smartphone from Oppo is one of the greatest Oppo launches to date, in my view. I was anxiously awaiting an Oppo smartphone of this calibre because the company has been concentrating a little too much on its flagship line in recent months. I always rely on reliable smartphone manufacturers in this price range, like Oppo and Samsung. There are several functions in the new Oppo A78 5G smartphone that I did not anticipate. The aspect that caught my attention with the Oppo A78 is its 5G compatibility. We are happy that Oppo is delivering 5G connection in such an affordable smartphone because I have seen a number of devices in this price range without it.

The Oppo A78 5G’s 6.6-inch Full HD+ 90Hz screen is adequate for a phone at this pricing. The majority of budget phones have a 60Hz refresh rate, and having a 90Hz screen is a good improvement. The overall display quality of the smartphone is really nice, and the colors are also vivid. The brightness levels are also good.

The phone contains a MediaTek MT6833 Dimensity 700 CPU, which is precisely what a phone with this price range should have, as well as 8GB of RAM. It includes 64GB of storage as standard and supports microSD cards up to 1TB. Dimensity 700 processors is a brilliant addition to this smartphone, as the SoC is great in performance as well as efficiency. The processor can help the smartphone perform well in gaming and in battery saving as well. I am currently using a smartphone with the same SoC, and it never lags or overheats.

The cameras appear trustworthy. Three cameras — a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera — are located on the back of the phone. In the display notch on the front is an 8MP selfie camera. I was unable to utilise the Oppo A78 to take any images, therefore my comments on it are based solely on the reviews I have read. The rear camera photography is good, but I think the front camera could have been better. The front camera pictures seem oversaturated.

The 5,000mAh lithium-ion battery inside the Oppo A78 5G should last for a long time. The phone also features 33W fast charging for a rather speedy recharge. The battery would use a Mediatek microprocessor and would have a lengthy lifespan. One of the top software upgrades comes from Oppo.

The 8GB variant of the smartphone will cost you around Rs 19,000. This price is really good for a high-quality 5G smartphone like this one. Oppo has been doing a very good job at providing high value for money to its users. Oppo A78 5G will gain popularity in the coming weeks, and I think if anyone is looking for a smartphone under Rs 20,000 range, this is your answer. What do you think about this smartphone?
