Oppo Launched the Oppo A16K in the Budget Segment!
Oppo has been a widely trusted brand when it comes to smartphones. The brand has been known to offer a wide range of powerful options especially in the budget segment and in the mid range segment. Oppo has proved its capabilities once again with the launch of the Oppo A16K smartphone.

This is an affordable smartphone with some decent features and specs and it also comes with a good price tag that balances out well with the features that the phone offers. The Oppo A16K basically seems like a lower variant of the Oppo A16 smartphone that was launched by the brand earlier. In terms of the features, Oppo A16K features a 6.52-inch HD+ (1,600x720 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 269 pixels per inch (ppi). For the processor of the phone, Oppo trusted the MediaTek Helio G35 processor which in my opinion is a pretty good choice that the brand made. MediaTek Helio G35 ensures a good overall performance of the phone. Budget buyers can opt for this phone for games and normal tasks. One thing to note about this is that MediaTek Helio G35 is an entry-level gaming processor therefore it can without a doubt ensure a good gaming experience for normal gamers, however one cannot expect the same for demanding games.
In terms of the camera, the phone comes with a single 13-megapixel camera sensor at the back, long with an LED flash. For selfies and video chats, the Oppo A16K houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front. The front-facing sensor supports features including HDR, Natural skin retouching, and AI Palette. The camera on the Oppo A16K also comes with further support of features like Stylish Filters, Backlit HDR, Dazzle Color Mode, and Night Filters.

The phone comes in Black, Blue, and White colours. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone packs a 4,230mAh battery that supports features including Super Night-time Standby, Optimized Night Charging, and Superpower Saving Mode. The brand has also claimed that the built-in battery delivers an all-day usage on a single charge. I think the brand could have done better with the built-in battery of the phone, however the integrated features may make up for the smaller battery.
The price of the phone in India has been set at Rs. 10,490 for the sole 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant. What do you think of this launch by Oppo? Is it worth buying?
