Poco has been doing a very good job of gaining popularity in the Indian smartphone market. A large section of Indian smartphone buyers looks for budget smartphones that provide decent and basic performance. These buyers do not want fancy gaming or high-end features but are just looking for good quality smartphones that offer smooth performance and durable quality. Considering this, Poco has launched a new Poco C50 smartphone, which has everything a budget buyer would need.

  1. This recently released smartphone sports a 6.52′′ HD+ LCD screen, a MediaTek Helio A22 processor, and 3GB of RAM. Let’s go through this in more detail! Let’s start with the pricing range. The Poco C50 is priced at 6,499 in India. The smartphone will be sold and made available for purchase starting on January 10, 2023.
  2. The 6.52-inch LCD display on the Poco C50 has an HD+ resolution and the traditional 60Hz refresh rate. This smartphone comes in three distinct colors and has a leather-like texture on the back. The display has a notch as well. Overall, it appears that the display quality is reasonable for the price.
  3. A MediaTek Helio A22 CPU, 2GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 32GB of expandable eMMC 5.1 storage, which can hold up to 1TB, will power this affordable smartphone. Speaking of this MediaTek chipset, the Helio A22 exhibits a respectable level of efficiency. Although it is not the greatest performer available, it offers more operational economy and smoothness than the majority of other SoCs in this price range. The Poco C50 runs MIUI 13 out of the box, which is an Android 12-based operating system.
  4. Let’s talk about photography. The smartphone has two cameras, one with an 8-megapixel primary lens and the other with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The 5-MP front camera on this smartphone is what it uses for selfies and video calls. The camera quality is also very standard.
  5. The battery inside of this smartphone has a capacity of 5,000mAh and supports 10W charging. The Mediatek chipset improves efficiency, and the battery easily lasts more than a day.

If you are someone who is tight on budget and wants a decent smartphone that does all the tasks well, you can definitely go for the Poco c50. Do not expect high-end gaming performance from the smartphone, as it is only meant for basic usage. Also, this is the kind of smartphone you can give to your parents or anybody who does not use heavy-duty features. What are your thoughts about this device? I would love to know your opinions, leave them in the comments section below.
