Poco M4 Pro 4G — My Usage Experience

Poco M4 Pro was bought by my cousin as soon as it launched. But not long after, he joined a new company and they offered him an iPhone for work purposes. He did not need the Poco m4 Pro 4G so i bought this smartphone from him as I was excited to check out the perfromance of this device. After using it for a couple of weeks, I realised that the usage experience of this smartphone was very unique and I felt like I should share my experience with you all. Here I will discuss my experience and will state the pros and cons of this smartphone.

What I Liked -

1. The looks and the design of the smartphone is something everyone will love in the first look. The Poco logo does not look forced and adds to the look of already premium looking back panel of the smartphone. The 6.43 inch screen has very thin bezels and this looks fabulous combined with the classy and sleek design of the smartphone.
2. The Mediatek helio G96 processor is being used in this smartphone. I have always thought of Helio G96 as a capable chipset, and Poco M4 Pro 4G has finally proved me right. This smartphone delivers excellent performance with amazing speed. The gaming is also lag free and I did not face any heating issues at all till now.
3. The display is another great feature. The 6.43 inch screen is equipped with an AMOLED display along with 90Hz fast refresh rates. The display has nice colors and 1000 nits brightness levels. Combined with stereo speakers of high quality, the multimedia and content consumption is also a treat on this smartphone.
4. With an 8GB RAM that is expandable by 3GB and a 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, this smartphone does not have any problem in running heavy duty apps. Also, multitasking is very efficient on this smartphone.

What Could Have Been Better -

1. Poco M4 Pro 4G comes with MIUI 13 that is based on Android 11. I feel like adding the Android 12 OS could have been a better decision as the users could have gotten quicker updates.
2. There are a few junk apps that are there in this smartphone. Although they are a big problem, but I like having a clean and clear space on my smartphone. I uninstalled all those unnecessary apps once I configured the smartphone for myself.

As you can see, the Poco m4 Pro 4G smartphone has a lot of likeable features, and major perfromance or quality issues. In my opinion, Poco m4 Pro 4G is a highly capable device, that can be easily trusted for performance.
