I’ve talked in detail about the Redmi Note 10S here so I won’t harp on it. But let’s do a quick summary of its specs: the Redmi Note 10S is equipped with a capable camera setup featuring a 64MP Quad-rear camera and there is a large 5,000 mAh battery along with 33W fast charging support. Not only this, the other highlights of the Redmi Note 10s include 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and MediaTek G95 processor with Hyper engine game technology and runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.

Now let’s separate its features into a pros and cons list to better help identify what’s good and what isn’t.

Pros

  • 64MP Quad-rear camera
  • Large 5,000 mAh battery
  • Superb 33W fast charging
  • 8GB RAM + 128GB internal
  • Multifunctional NFC
  • Side-mounted fingerprint sensor
  • Ip53 dust and water resistance
  • Gorilla Glass protection
  • Dual Stereo speakers

Cons

  • No 5G connectivity
  • Normal refresh rate
  • Heating issues during gaming

I would say that the camera setup of this phone really impressed me. The camera section is the major exhibition area of the Redmi Note 10S. There is a 64MP Quad-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 64MP main sensor, followed by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP macro camera and a 2Mp depth sensor. On the front, the Redmi Note 10S features a 13MP selfie camera. The camera section features optimized software for producing quality pictures with both low and good lighting conditions.

Some of the photography and video features include 64MP mode, Night mode, AI Beautify, AI Portrait Mode with bokeh and depth control along with video macro mode, Pro time-lapse, Slow motion and you can record 1080 pixel videos at 30fps.

Design wise, since the rear panel is made of glass with curved edges, it’s going to attract more fingerprints. So, using a back cover is necessary here. The bezels are very minimal on the front with a very small chin at the bottom, while the rectangular shaped camera module on the back looks quite attractive. Furthermore, the Redmi Note 10S comes with Ip53 dust and water resistance.
