Realme C55: The Full-on Entertainment Phone

Realme’s newest entrant in the market is its full-on entertainment smartphone. The newest launch is said to sport a sophisticated look and is the perfect multitasking phone. There were various rumours surrounding the Indian launch. Putting all the rumours to rest, the phone has been launched officially in India, making its Indian fans more than happy than ever. While its Indian launch happened recently, the phone had been launched in Indonesia sometime back.

Realme became the first Android brand to adopt Apple’s Dynamic Island feature. While the tech giant Apple introduced this feature last year with its latest iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, Realme introduced it this year. Realme introduced the “ Mini Capsule” in this phone which shows low battery warnings, the phone’s charging status, and data use. The phone is a full-on entertainer phone with music, photography, gaming, and streaming.

The phone has been powered by MediaTek Helio G-88 which is known for guaranteeing smoother displays and a gaming processor by MediaTek.

The phone promise -

6.72 inches FHD+ screen along with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 392ppi pixel density, and a refresh rate of 90 Hz offering a crystal clear and large display. The aspect ratio of this punch-hole display is 20:9.

Sophisticated and sleek yet stylish, the phone measures just 7.89 mm thick, maximizing one’s sense of style. The look of the phone is enhanced by the magnificent impact produced by the Sunshower Design when it is exposed to sunshine, illuminating every moment.

Realme C55 comes shipping a large 5000 mAh battery with a 33 W SUPEVOOC charge that allows for longer usage without interruption when streaming music, streaming movies, or playing games, without worrying about the battery running out. Enjoy blazing-fast charging that instantly charges up your smartphone.

Known to be the segment’s largest camera sensor and the most advanced imaging software, it comes with a supersized 64 MP AI camera. The rear camera also includes a 2MP depth sensor and an LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

Offering ample storage the phone has been launched in three storage compositions consisting of 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM with extendable RAM up to 16GB available only in the 8GB variant. The internal storage consists of 64GB starting with the lower variant.

The amazing feature of “Mini Capsule” is present in the phone. Taking inspiration from iPhone, Realme launched it in its C55 smartphone. Mini Capsule shows low battery warnings, the phone’s charging status, and data use. It also displays one’s daily walking distance and step count, making your interaction with the phone seamless and quite efficient.

The Realme C55 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset. It comes with a 12nm chip with two Cortex-A75 cores (2.0GHz) and six A55 cores, plus a Mali-G52 MC2 ensures responsive reactions, fast app loading, and camera snaps.

The phone seems to be the perfect offering for an entry-level phone at Rs. 10,999, backed with some great features. The phone is currently available at Flipkart in two colour variants — Sunshower and Rainy Night.
