Redmi’s newest launch is here. Finally, the Indian smartphone market has seen the launch of Redmi’s 12C. Redmi fans had been very eagerly waiting for the phone to launch in India. Making the fans all the more curious and excited. The phone, Redmi 12C is the perfect entry-level smartphone that comes with MediaTek’s Helio G85 processor, the powerful; gaming processor.

Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone maker brand launched two of its new models last month namely Redmi Note 12 4G and Redmi 12C in India last month. Both smartphones are now up for sale in India finally. Both phones are new additions to the already existing series and cost less than Rs 15,000, making them the perfect entry-level affordable smartphones. It shows that the pandemic made it really necessary for all to have a mobile phone with them. Technology is the need of the hour.

Redmi 12C comes powered with MediaTek Helio G85 chipset which comes with an Octa-core CPU that features two powerful Arm Cortex-A75 CPUs operating up to 2GHz and six Cortex-A55 processors operating up to 1.8GHz.

The phone offers an immersive display with a 6.71-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 720x1650 pixels (HD+) at a pixel density of 500 pixels per inch.

The camera enthusiasts can be happy enough as it boasts packing the rear with a 50-megapixel camera. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 5-megapixel sensor. It features a 50MP Dual AI camera. The Redmi 12C comes with camera modes that let you capture trend-worthy content.

Not to forget it houses a massive 5000 mAh battery with fast charging that lets you binge-watch your favourite videos and movies, and download songs as well.

The Redmi 12C runs MIUI 13 is based on Android 12 and packs 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 500GB). The Redmi 12C is a dual-SIM mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards.
