Redmi A1 Plus — Specs & Features
Last month, Xiaomi introduced the Redmi A1 smartphone to the Indian market. The Xiaomi Redmi A1 Plus, the brand’s upgrade, was just unveiled. The recently released Redmi smartphone is priced in the entry level bracket, and for that price, it offers some straightforward but reliable features. Here are some of the Redmi A1 Plus’s key specifications and features.
Display and Build — The device is available in Light Blue and Black. The 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen of the Xiaomi Redmi A1 Plus boasts HD+ quality and a customary 60Hz refresh rate. The smartphone’s display panel features an 81.4% screen-to-body ratio and a pixel density of 269PPI. Because of the vibrant display, I believe it will perform better than its rivals in this price range. The display quality is good.
Performance -The octa-core Helio A22 CPU from MediaTek powers the A1 Plus’s internals. It has Arm Cortex-A53 processors with a 2.0 GHz maximum clock speed. An IMG PowerVR GPU is included with the smartphone processor. It has four processing cores. 32GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM are included in the smartphone. The smartphone comes pre-installed with MIUI 12 and Android 12. I believe Redmi should have used a G series chipset from the Mediatek Helio family and that the RAM should have been a little bit larger.
Camera — The device includes a dual-camera configuration for imaging. The smartphone boasts a 0.3MP depth camera in addition to an 8MP primary camera. The gadget includes a 5MP front-facing camera. The camera is adequate in my perspective because we cannot expect more at this price point.
Battery & Other features — The smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery, and it is more than enough to power the device for a long time. Talking about the network quality, this smartphone offers some interesting features such as a dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, and 4G VoLTE. Also, it has a built-in fingerprint sensor which was missing in the Redmi A1 smartphone.
The smartphone has two variants, and the one with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage is priced at Rs. 6,999. The smartphone is one of the most nominally priced devices in the market right now. If you are looking for a durable smartphone for simple tasks, Redmi A1 Plus may be the right option for you. What do you think of the device? Comment down below.
