Redmi’s affordable offering, said to be driven by Mediatek is finally here. Redmi has been on a launching spree and after launching Redmi A1, it is back with its pocket-friendly phone. The phone that has finally been launched in the Indian smartphone market is Redmi A2. It seems like the year 2023 started on a very good note for Redmi. It is the successor to its Redmi A1. The series launch took place sometime back and includes A2 and A2+, while both come backed by the MediaTek Helio G36 processor.
Redmi fans and users had been eagerly waiting for Redmi A2 to start its sale in India. The Redmi A2 is the brand’s latest offering in entry-level phones which is deemed to be quite budget-friendly.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 processor which is known to be the gaming processor with an Octa-core processor for entry gaming smartphones with peak speeds of 2.2GHz from its octa-core Arm Cortex-A53 CPU. An IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU delivers the right mix of performance and power efficiency.
