Sense and sensibility: Infinix Zero 8i Review
A mid-range smartphone with sensible features
The Infinix Zero 8i has come at a time when budget smartphones with premium-level features have been released one after the other. To cut the clutter and emerge a winner is challenging to say the least, but what works in the Zero 8i’s favour are a few basic but important features.
I bought this phone for my younger sister and she is in love with the camera! Its 48MP camera is really good during the daylight and surprisingly in low-light conditions as well which is saying a lot for a phone at this price point. I picked the Infinix Zero 8i because I heard good reviews about it online and I’m glad about my choice.
In my opinion, it is a good, well-rounded phone that shines in other departments as well. The silver model looks really sleek plus it has a good battery which lasts all day and more. It saved me from having to purchase a portable battery backup haha. Other than that, we are quite happy with the 128GB storage and the 8GB RAM which ensures that the apps don’t lag. She doesn’t play games on it but for someone who is into that, this is a good choice because it has a fast processor and the huge screen is just lovely to play on.
This smartphone has a lot of nice qualities which make it a great option if you’re looking for a no-nonsense device that delivers. Let’s look at some of the specs:
Storage: You get an internal storage of 128 GB which is honestly more than enough to store all your photos, videos, documents, apps, and more.
Processor: The power-packed MediaTek Helio G90T processor is perfect for heavy-duty gaming and multitasking. It’s also good if you like spending time scrolling through on social media apps.
Battery life: This smartphone has a pretty good battery life of 4,500 mAh which is perfect for all your daily needs be it bingeing on Netflix, playing games, watching YouTube, or editing photos. You also get 33W of fast charging which is a surprise for a phone of this price.
RAM: It’s rare to find a budget smartphone with 8GB of RAM. The Infinix Zero 8i offers smooth gameplay and switching between apps is a breeze.
Display: The best part about the phone is its Full HD+ display screen of 6.8 inches which is perfect for watching films or gaming for hours.
Camera: It supports a 48MP rear camera which is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor and a Quad-LED Flash which shoots in 4K and makes low-light photography a non-issue.
Build: This smartphone comes in Silver and Black and has a new Diamond design that looks sleek and elegant.
Other: It runs on Android 10 which supports dual VoLTE and has DTS audio support for listening to music.
All things considered, I’ll have to say that this is a nice, nifty little device that does the job as promised and more. For the price of 15,999, I feel this is a good deal.
