SS Rajamouli does affect this age of filmmakers and the equivalent is clear from the trailer of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Shamshera. The trailer acquaints the crowd with a ‘dacoit’ who is finishing his dad’s main goal. Ranbir plays both dad and child in the film.

Sanjay Dutt plays the main bad guy Shuddh Singh who is utilized by the British to find the criminal who has threatened the neighborhood residents. Vaani Kapoor shows up and has a romantic tale with Ranbir’s personality here.

While Rajamouli’s impact is beyond what is clear in Shamshera, one can’t resist the urge to likewise consider Thugs of Hindostan which flopped pitiably in the cinematic world and was quite possibly of YRF’s greatest disappointment.

The teaser of the movie was very nice, I am disappointed with the main trailer of the film. I was expecting the movie to be dark, gritty, and full of seriousness. But in the trailer, we can see item songs, romance, and bad comedy. Ranbir Kapoor can be seen doing the ‘Govinda’ kind of comedy, and action seems to be also filled with cringe humor that was not needed.

The VFX of the movie seems nice in some shots but fails to impress in others. There are a few shots where the VFX is bad and the use of a chroma screen can be clearly seen. Also, there are some scenes where VFX has been used perfectly.

The trailer was very badly edited, and it did nothing good by spoiling the entire plot of the movie. I thought this movie was going to be different, but it is the same old ‘Baap Ka Badla’ movie, atleast from what the trailer shows us.

In the scene where Shamshera looks at his son, we can clearly see that the makeup of Ranbir Kapoor looks very fake. I wish the makers would have put more effort into such fine details, as these small things make a big difference.

The only good aspect about this movie is Sanjay Dutt, as he looks like a true villain here. His acting skills are clearly visible, and I feel he is going to take home all the applause. I am very confused about the trailer, as I cannot comprehend whether the movie will lean towards Baahubali or Thugs Of Hindostan. What do you think?
