As always, Vivo has done what it does best: focused on a classy smartphone and used a powerful mediatek dimensity chipset while at it. The Vivo V21 5G smartphone has been launched as the latest affordable 5G-capable handset in India. As the name suggests, it features 5G connectivity and is the most affordable 5G smartphone from the brand in the Indian market, though other companies offer 5G phones at much lower prices in the country.

It’s priced at Rs. 29,990 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at Rs. 32,990. I think Vivo has priced the Vivo V21 5G well because the mid-range segment in india is quite crowded and this phone stands apart with its impressive camera specs and processor. It features a slim design, an HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor.

Photography is where this phone shines. What sets the Vivo V21 5G apart from the rest of the mid-range smartphones is its front-facing camera. The phone has a staggering, 44MP selfie camera. That is not all, the selfie camera also has autofocus and OIS for sharper and blur-free images.

As for the rear cameras, the Vivo V21 5G has a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Even the primary camera at the rear can record 4K video at 30 frames per second. The smartphone comes with this ‘Dual Selfie Spotlight’ feature that uses the LED flash and the screen’s soft light to brighten selfies in low-light conditions.

The smartphone also packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for 33W FlashCharge fast charging support. Its connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. What more could one want in a mid-range smartphone?
