Vivo V27 Pro: Making delightful memories
The year 2023 has seen some of the smartphone brands’ best launches and releases. While some made big announcements and released their phones on a later date, others went for a silent launch, a one-of-a-kind low-key launch. Vivo has not been far behind and has been on a launching rampage. Adding some new entrants to its mid-segment smartphone lineup, Vivo has recently launched its Vivo V27 and Vivo V27 Pro. Though Vivo V27 is yet to be launched, it has been announced and its pre-sale will start soon. Vivo V27 Pro has already seen the light of day and has been launched in Indian markets.
Just like the Vivo V27, Vivo V27 Pro also has the never seen before 3D curved display and colour-changing back panels. The series, which includes a base and a pro variant, is powered by MediaTek chipsets and runs on Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13. The Vivo V27 is backed by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset with TSMC’s 4nm process. Dimensity 8200 gives premium 5G smartphones best-in-class power efficiency.
The smartphone comes with a line of impressive features discussed in detail here -
Guaranteeing a sleek and silky smooth feel in the hands, the minimalist aesthetically designed phone is only 7.36 mm thick and weighs just 182 gm. The smartphone comes with a 3D Curved Display with no compromising of color display at the screen edges. The 60-degree curvature offers quite a comfortable grip and an immersive viewing experience too. The narrow frame on V27 Pro is just 2.3 mm thin ensuring that sleek and elegant look.
For that immersive display, it offers a 6.78 inches AMOLED type display, having 388ppi pixel density, a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, and up to 1.07 billion colours with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
With its clean, sleek, and attractive design, the smartphone impresses one with its camera layout. Along with the 50MP rear Primary camera, the rear also consists of built-in Optical Image Stabilization along with an 8MP wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.
For those Night Portraits, it comes with Aura Loments at night. Aura Light intelligently detects low ambient light and adds brightness to those radiant and delicate complexions.
Being backed by the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, it offers Octa-core CPU with Arm Cortex-A78 speeds up to 3.1 GHz and Arm Mali-G610 graphics engine. MediaTek Dimensity 8200 helps to ensure that games have smoother and faster framerates in popular titles, and impressive performance in everyday apps and activities along with best-in-class power efficiency, all thanks to 5G.
Ensuring longer battery life and better performance, Vivo V27 comes with a 4600 mAh battery supporting a 66W Flash charge. One can easily charge from 1% to 50% in 19 minutes.
Offering 8GB Extended RAM to the already existing 8GB RAM along with 128GB of Internal storage, one can run multiple apps in the background. Not to forget, the device runs on Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13.
The USP or the main attraction of the smartphone is its Colour Changing Fluorite AG Glass technology with improved sensitivity on the back panel which lets it change colour when exposed to sunlight. The Colour Changing Glass appears to be touched by charm as it shifts from a light shade to a darker one as light intensity increases. Vivo V27 Pro is currently available on Flipkart for Rs. 37,999.
