Vivo X90 Series: Professional standards with Zeiss lens
Vivo is a Chinese multinational technology company headquartered in Dongguan, Guangdong. It was ranked among the top five smartphone makers in 2021. Every now and then, Vivo throws in cutting-edge technology and specifications in its phones, therefore making its flagships known for their hardware.
After being unveiled in China back in November 2022, Vivo’s X90 series has been launched globally now, though it is yet to be launched in India soon as has been speculated. The global smartphone markets are going to be hit with two variants of the phone — Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro. While the Vivo X90 lineup also includes Vivo X90 Pro Plus, it is currently only available in China.
Vivo X90 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset and will be supported with Vivo’s self-invented V2 chipset which will further help in achieving best-in-class pictures, high gaming frame rates, and photography enhancements. These chips are further said to be cooled by an extra large VC liquid cooling setup with a surface area of 4002mm square.

As far as camera configuration is concerned, Vivo X90 would offer a rear triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch Zeiss lens primary camera sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens camera, a 12-megapixel portrait lens camera, and a single 32-megapixel sensor front camera setup for selfies. The only difference for the Vivo X90 Pro would be that it would flaunt a 50-megapixel portrait lens camera.
Design variation suggests that Vivo X90 would weigh around 201 gm while Vivo X90 Pro Plus would weigh around 214 gm. Both would come with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of Internal storage.
It is also expected that both the models would run OriginOS 3 which is based on Android 13 and would have IP68 certification for providing water and dust resistance.
While Vivo X90 is expected to come with a 4810 mAh battery, Vivo X90 Pro Plus would offer a 4870 mAh battery with fast charging where the battery would charge from 0 to 50% in 8 seconds. Both would offer support for 120W fast charging.
Vivo X90 series is expected to bring innovation and new features with its cutting-edge technology in the camera advancements for its camera enthusiasts. Its 50 MP camera would be tuned by Zeiss along with a T* coating will be applied to the camera lenses of the device. The phone would be 5G enabled with Wi-Fi connectivity providing faster network searching and connection recovery out of dead zones, GPS, NFC, USB OTG, and USB Type-C.
