Vivo’s most awaited launch- Vivo Y100 is finally here. The new entrant finally hit the smartphone market. Vivo recently launched its Vivo Y100 on 16th February 2023 in India. The smartphone brings with it two colour variants with colour-changing glass finish along with a metal black colour, a 64MP OIS Anti-shake camera, and 8GB plus 8GB extended RAM.

Vivo Y100 comes powered with MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. The MediaTek Dimensity 900 is the flagship-grade chipset, supporting TSMC 6nm production process. MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset optimizes a notch-up in terms of camera, performance, and battery life. It comes with a dedicated 4K HDR video capture engine, great storage, flagship-grade Octa-core CPU, impressive display, camera advancements that give clear and clarity-filled shots, 5G-enabled faster, long-range networks, and exceptional power efficiency.

Vivo Y100 offers some great features, discussed in detail -

Offering an immersive display experience, the smartphone comes with a 6.38-inch AMOLED display, along with a 90 Hz Ultra-high refresh rate, a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels (FHD+), and 1300 nits of local peak brightness.

As far as the design is concerned, it flaunts a glass body with a 7.73mm thinness and weighs 181gm amounting to fit in the category of quite thin, delicate, and lightweight.

With Camera advancements, the camera features the “Anti-shake” feature. The camera boasts a 64MP OIS for that ultra-stable shooting experience, which helps to improve the image texture of the video recorded or photography which is done in low light. The rear packs a triple camera setup configuration consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera; a 2-megapixel camera, a 2-megapixel camera, and a single front 16-megapixel camera for all those ultra-clear selfies.

For a more clear and more stable video in motion, it optimizes the Hybrid Image Stabilization ( OIS + EIS ). It supports the real-time guide, thus offering different video templates that can help to create Vlog movies. It provides a cinematic experience by converting ordinary videos into cinematic ones, possible with the help of a Cinematic Aspect Ratio and Cinematic filters. The Dual-view Video feature provides the benefit of vlogging with both front and rear cameras at the same time. Super Night Mode along with OIS Anti-blur photography offers the rear camera six times the light intake.
It also comes with a lot more advancements in camera with Bokeh Flair Portrait and Multi-style portraits.

It boasts 8GB RAM and 128GB Internal storage, plus an extended 8GB RAM for the smooth running of apps, switching between multiple webpages, and with no waiting period.

Vivo Y100 houses a powerful 4500 mAh battery with support of 44W fast charging along with producing less heat.

The 5G connectivity offers ultrafast speed and connectivity, thus ensuring smoothness for our day-to-day work. With 5G we get faster, longer-range connections, and incredible power efficiency along with Dual 5G SIM which gives users the benefit of better performance, more choices, and access to the latest VoNR services.

The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. The chipset comes with the latest Arm Cortex-A78 CPU cores for high-end 5G smartphones clocking 2.4GHz along with TSMC’s 6nm production process and the Arm Mali-G68 GPU which features all the technologies of the bigger G78. Dimensity 900 processor also comes with MediaTek Hyper Engine 3.0 ensures an uninterrupted and low-latency network making sure longer gameplay for gamers.
