In times when every smartphone is focusing on fancy features rather than keeping the basics right, Vivo Y21A has kept it simple yet smart. Vivo Y21A is a great smartphone that works well for someone who is looking for simple yet durable smartphones. Vivo Y21A has been released in the budget price range, at a cost of around Rs 13,000. At this cost, Vivo has included some pretty impressive features here, which can deliver a decent experience to the user. This smartphone is not heavy duty tasks like video rendering or high-level gaming, but this is a budget friendly virtuous device for your normal daily tasks. Let us look at some of its features.

Looks — Vivo Y21A is a slim smartphone with around 8mm thickness. It has a light weight of just 182gms. Vivo Y21A consists of 2.5D flat frame which enhances the build quality of the phone. Vivo Y21A surely has a premium feel to it, and is comfortable in usage. At the front side, it has a 6–51’inch screen with a waterdrop notch and a thin chin.

Processor — Mediatek Helio P22 is the processor that powers this smartphone. This smartphone processor has an octa-core structure, with a maximum clock speed of 2.0GHz. This smartphone has good level of efficiency and can perform well in normal day to day tasks. Mediatek Helio P22 has powered many smartphones in the past, and it is interesting to see how effortlessly it powers Vivo Y21A as well.

Display — The display of this smartphone is pretty impressive, with a 6.5inch screen that has IPS LCD HD+ display along with decent refresh rates. Vivo Y21A’s screen also has an eye protection mode that protects our screen from blue light exposure. The brightness levels are also fine with an 89% screen to body ratio. The color and contrast of this smartphone is pretty fabulous.

Memory — Vivo Y21A comes in a single memory variant with a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The storage is UFS 2.1 and can be expanded through an SD card upto 1TB. The RAM can also be virtually expanded by 1GB. The memory of this smartphone is a nice feature that helps in performance of the device.

Camera — The camera quality of the device is pretty reasonable for the price. It has a dual camera setup at the back with a 13MP primary and a 2MP secondary camera. Both these cameras have the capability of recording 1080p videos at 30fps. I personally like the range of colors and edge detection quality both cameras have. Also, the dynamic range is very nice.

These are some of the many reasons behind my opinion that Vivo Y21A is a simple, smart, and a durable smartphone. Let me know in the comments section what do you think about the Vivo Y21A.
