Vivo Y21A — Pros and Cons

  1. The best part about this smartphone is its price. The Vivo Y21A comes at a price tag of Rs 13,000. At such a nominal price, the reach of this smartphone is maximum for people of all financial classes. The fact that anyone can afford such a quality smartphone is the biggest pro for me.
  2. Mediatek Helio P22 processor is the one integrated into this smartphone. This is an octa-core processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.0GHz. The processor has been tested alot of times in many smartphones and it has provided an efficient and smooth performance in each one of them.
  3. The memory and storage capacity of this device is also nice. The 4GB RAM is expandable by one GB virtually, which gives the performance another boost. Also, the smartphone has an expandable ROM of 64 GB (which can be expanded to 1TB through an SD card).
  4. Display is one of the least talked about features of this smartphone. The display is of 6.51-inches, with and IPS LCD HD+ screen and fast refresh rates. The touch sensitivity of the device is also nice.
  5. Vivo Y21A is ranked pretty high in looks as well, as it has a slim design with around 8mm thickness and just 182gms of weight. The smartphone has a premium in-hand feel along with a high STB ratio because of a thin chin and a water drop notch.
  1. The rear view camera (13MP plus 2MP) could have been a little better in quality. In daylight, it clicks good pictures, but in night, the quality and sharpness are not adequate.
  2. The audio quality can sound choppy at some point, and could most easily have been a little better. But, if you play the sound at 80% volume, the speaker sounds better.
