Vivo Y21G smartphone is the latest in line of many smartphones launched by Vivo this year. Vivo has been able to launch capable smartphones in all budget segment, and this time, they are targeting the low-to-mid range of price. Vivo Y21G smartphone has some nice features and specs, which definitely tell you a lot of the quality and performance of this smartphone. With many pros, and some potential cons, let us see the good and bad factors of this smartphone to know whether the smartphone is worth buying or not.

Pros -

  1. The build quality of this smartphone is very solid despite of being made from plastic. The screen also has a glass protection, but that protection is not specified by the company.
  2. The looks of this smartphone is another huge reason why people are loving the device. Vivo Y21G is an 8mm thick smartphone, which means it is very slim and sleek. With 182gms weight, it is very light and thus gives you a very confident and premium in hand feel. This smartphone has also has flat edges to enhance the look.
  3. On the front side, the smartphone has very thin bezels and a small chin, which gives it a higher screen to body ratio, thus enhancing the front look of the device.
  4. The Mediatek Helio G70 processor has done a very good job at powering this device. This chipset has been known to be a very efficient and capable one, and it has done just that in this Vivo Y21G. The smartphone also has a Mali G52 GPU to handle graphics in games and multimedia.
  5. The battery is one of the strongest points of this smartphones. It has a 5000mAh battery along with an 18W charger. Due to the efficiency of the processor, this smartphone can last easily around one and a half days. The charger is also capable and can charge the device in an hour or less.

Cons

  1. The display of this smartphone is of HD+ quality. Although the colors and brightness are decent, an FHD+ display could have been better as it is seen in the smartphones of this price range.
  2. The 13MP rear camera is good, but the 2MP depth camera could most certainly have been better. The photos clicked through this lens lack a little more detailing.

With only 2 cons and many pros that I could not list due to the length of the article, I feel Vivo Y21G smartphone is a pretty capable device for gaming, efficiency, and other day to day tasks. Do let me know your opinion in the comments below.
