For the past few months, Vivo has continuously released high-quality smartphones, all of which have been of a respectable level. Vivo targets every price range, from the mid-range to the low-range. This time, Vivo introduced the Vivo Y22 smartphone, a device in the low- to mid-price class. This smartphone has a unique collection of specs and features, with features that are both reliable and long-lasting in nature. Before passing judgment on the quality of the newest Vivo Y22 smartphone, let’s take a closer look at its many specifications and features.
Look — The Vivo Y22 smartphone is stylish and small. The smartphone is just 8mm thick, which greatly improves the in-hand experience. Additionally, the panel’s back has a special pattern that improves the appearance. The waterdrop display on the front side also looks good thanks to the slim bezels and short chin. Considering the budget, the device’s construction quality is also pretty good.
Display — The 6.51-inch screen of the Vivo Y22 is an IPS LCD display with HD+ display quality. The display is really vibrant and brilliant. On this screen, watching movies and videos is a passable experience. Even though some people could argue that Vivo ought to have included an FHD+ display, their HD+ display still serves its purpose. It uses the common 60Hz refresh rate.
Processor — This smartphone’s processor is the Mediatek Helio G70. The processor is competent and has previously run several devices. The processor has an octa-core architecture and 4G network capabilities. This processor can run at a maximum clock speed of 2.0GHz. The Mali G52 MC2 GPU in the Vivo Y22 delivers a respectable level of gaming and entertainment.
Memory- The 4GB and 6GB RAM on this smartphone are expandable. In theory, the RAM may be expanded by 1 GB. Additionally, an SD card can be used to expand internal storage. The smartphone also features internal storage options of 64GB and 128GB.
Camera — The camera quality of this smartphone is also decent. It has a 50MP dual rear camera along with an 8MP front camera. Both cameras click decent pictures and can record 1080p videos at 30fps. The camera quality is one of the strongest features here.
Battery — The smartphone has a 5000mAh battery. The smartphone has an 18W fast charging feature.
Overall, I kind of like this smartphone, and if I ever require a low-budget smartphone, I will go to Vivo Y22.
