The new Nord 2 5G arrives nearly a year after OnePlus released the first Nord smartphone. The Nord 2 is the first OnePlus handset with a non-Qualcomm processor. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 AI processor. The Nord 2 5G is marketed as an affordable flagship with great performance and battery life.

It sports a 6.43-inch screen with a punch-hole in the top left corner for the selfie camera. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects both the display and the back of the phone. OnePlus Nord 2 5G boasts a triple camera system on the rear, and the camera module looks similar to that of the OnePlus 9R. The device is quickly unlocked with the side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Plastic makes up the middle frame of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. The power button and alert slider are located on the right side, while the volume controls are located on the left. The USB Type-C connector, speakers, SIM tray, and primary microphone are all located on the bottom, while the secondary microphone is located on the top.

OnePlus Nord 2 is equipped with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a pixel density of 409 PPI and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels. The 20:9 aspect ratio display has a wider viewing space and a high screen-to-body ratio as a result of its design. A refresh rate of 90Hz is available on the OnePlus Nord 2 Display.

OnePlus Nord 2 consists of a 4500 mAh dual-cell battery with a quick 65W Warp Charge that should last two days. When you do need to recharge, you can anticipate a complete charge from 0 to 100% in about 35 minutes.
