India is going to be 5G ready soon and I believe the influx of a variety of budget to mid-range smartphones that are coming equipped with 5G chipsets is proof of that. Oppo’s latest release in the F series, the Oppo F19 Pro + 5G has a trendy design, an excellent camera setup, and a good quality chipset for amazing gaming performance.

This premium mid-ranger is priced at Rs. 25,990 and comes with 8 gigs of RAM, 128 gigs of storage space, and a hefty 4,310 mAh battery which is sure to last one all day. I especially like the camera specifications of this smartphone with the rear camera giving 48 megapixels with an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The selfie camera meanwhile comes with a 16MP lens.

What I found interesting about the new Oppo F19 Pro+ is the chipset that it comes embedded with. It features the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor which is an octa-core processor. It further comprises two quad-core clusters, one of which employs high-performance Cortex-A76 cores, whereas the other makes use of battery-efficient Cortex-A55 cores. The F19 Pro+ is more than capable of handling multitasking or switching between multiple applications at once. What’s more, thanks to its powerful Mali-G57 MC3 GPU, the smartphone can run most, if not all graphics-intensive titles at high settings without incurring any frame drops either which makes it ideal for gaming purposes as well.

The Dimensity 800U comes with something called ‘The Immersive Gaming Mode’ which includes the ‘Game Focus Mode’ that is meant to protect you from all sorts of annoying notifications so that you can be fully immersed in your gameplay. One also gets the option of enabling ‘Bullet Notifications’ from WhatsApp and Facebook so you can still keep a tab on them with minimal distraction.

Clearly, OPPO has done a darn good job with the F19 Pro+ 5G. From its excellent cameras to its superior performance, the F19 Pro+ 5G checks all the right boxes and will undoubtedly set the mid-range segment on fire.
