What’s New About the Redmi Note 10S?

The Redmi Note 10S is finally here in India. The Redmi Note 10S is the only device from the Note 10 series with 4G only and features some of the features matching the Redmi Note 10, which is already available in the Indian smartphone market. This time Xiaomi has gone with the MediaTek chipset along with an improved camera setup.

The Redmi Note 10S features a large 5,000 mAh battery along with more fast-charging compatibility and scores well in the display and sections. Let’s dig into the features a bit.

This is one of the affordable smartphones from Xiaomi and comes in multiple storage options including 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. As for the pricing and availability, the Redmi Note 10S price for the 6GB RAM variant is Rs. 14,999 and for the 8GB RAM variant, the price is Rs. 15,999.

When it comes to the design, there are two things that I liked more. The first one is the minimum sized punch-hole on the front for housing the selfie camera, which is so small that it won’t disrupt the visual experience. The second one is the in-hand feel. The Redmi Note 10S features 178 grams of weight irrespective of the 5,000 mAh battery inside and features a lightweight design. You can easily hold it single-handedly.

Since the rear panel is made of glass with curved edges, it’s going to attract more fingerprints. So, using a back cover is necessary here. The bezels are very minimal. There are bezels on the front with a very small chin at the bottom, while the rectangular shaped camera module on the back looks quite attractive. Furthermore, the Redmi Note 10S comes with Ip53 dust and water resistance.
