Mediatek has recently announced the launch of three new chipsets in its already established Dimensity series, Mediatek Dimensity 1300, Mediatek Dimensity 8000, and Mediatek Dimensity 8100. Structure — Mediatek Dimensity 8000 is an octa-core chipset. 4 out of these 8 cores are for high-performance tasks (Arm A78) with speeds up to 2.75GHz and the other 4 are for efficient task performances (Arm A55) with speeds up to 2.0 GHz. Mediatek Dimensity 8000 is built on a 5nm fabrication process which will result in higher efficiency and lower battery usage in the smartphone along with great performance and no heating issues.
